PLS-SEM: A Comprehensive Introduction
Everything you need to know about the principles of PLS-SEM
This course offers you a comprehensive introduction into the principles of partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Starting with the specification of the structural and measurement models, we introduce the principles of PLS-SEM and recent developments of the method. We continue by discussing the evaluation of reflectively and formatively specified measurement models, including all relevant metrics. The next section deals with the structural model evaluation, covering various types of metrics to assess a model’s explanatory and predictive power. We also discuss measures for goodness-of-fit testing and model comparisons. To facilitate learning, we illustrate all metrics and decisions researchers need to make using an empirical example on corporate reputation. The datasets and model files can be downloaded from www.pls-sem.com.
