In this course, you will learn how to conduct an importance-performance map analysis (IPMA) in PLS-SEM. We first introduce a systematic procedure for running an IPMA and discuss each step, paying particular attention to the requirements check. We then illustrate the computation and interpretation of the IPMA on both a construct and indicator level using the corporate reputation example. The following topics will be covered:
- What is an IPMA and why is it useful?
- Requirements for running an IPMA
- Computation of importance and performance values
- Results interpretation
Key benefits
- Comprehensive video material covering the state-of-the-art in importance-performance map analysis (IPMA)
- Learn how to carry out and to interpret the results of an IPMA on the construct and item level
- Comprehensive lecturing slides included
- Annotated outputs from SmartPLS illustrate all analyses step-by-step
- Personal certificate after successful completion of the final exam

The IPMA allows you to gain more insights from your PLS-SEM results and you should run it whenever possible. This excellent course gives you all the knowledge you need to execute IPMA yourself - in a short time!
Joe Hair, University of South Alabama, USA
The IPMA is a fantastic tool, which allows you to extend your PLS-SEM results to obtain richer findings for the discussion section of your paper.
Lacramioara Radomir, Babeș-Bolyai University, Romania
Great learning materials! You'll get all you need to run your own IPMA in research papers and consulting projects.
